One-on-One Treks |
|
One-on-One treks are offered year
round and designed for a minimum of
30 days.
This is a customized experience
that
offers teens and adults a time to assess their
choices
and develop a transition plan without
the distraction of peers. This
environment, coupled with the
continuous supervision, support, and
guidance from an adult role model,
empowers the student to examine their
personal issues while engaging in a
unique adventure. Each student is
paired with a highly skilled adventure
based counselor.

Summer Adventure Program |
Summer treks are designed for six
weeks.
This is a high impact, structured
and diverse program that includes
backpacking, service learning, ropes course and climbing, and canoe
expeditions
on the Superior Hiking Trail along
the north shore of Lake Superior,
and in the Boundary
Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in
northern Minnesota. Ages 13 to 17, single
gender groups.

Winter Program |
Winter treks are designed for 4 to 8
weeks.
Offering
small group (1:2 staff to student
ratio) assessment-based treks in
Minnesota, Texas, and New Mexico,
the Winter Program is scheduled from
January through April. This
intervention offers families and
referral sources an assessment to
help determine an appropriate
transitional setting that would best
meet the needs of their child.
Four to six students per group.

Family Treks |
Trek
length custom-designed.
These uniquely designed,
structured experiences combine the
needs of the family with the well
known Soltreks creative team
approach. Bring healing and intimacy
to your relationships and to your
family while learning to reconnect
and having fun! Treks offered for
members of the family as well such
as mother-daughter, father-son, or
siblings. Treks take place in a
variety of locations throughout the
United States.

awareness of what limits them in
their lives, their relationships,
and their relationship to life.
