PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Soltreks Approach
Soltreks is a wilderness program that integrates principles of outdoor adventure, experiential education and a personal growth perspective. Soltreks promotes and honors positive change, and strives to restore healthy families. Our strength-based approach teaches and models solution-focused skills and processes.

Family involvement is vital to each student’s success. Experience shows that when a family is engaged in a positive way in their family member’s healing, the chance of a positive outcome and long term success is greatly magnified. Soltreks provides telephone conference calls to keep families informed and involved in the process, and to support open communication between staff and parents.
