Soltreks staff member are the heart of
our program. They bring their
diverse educational, creative, and
experiential backgrounds to their
work. All instructors must pass
a criminal background check. Their
education may include
training in or as:
Licensed Counselor
Licensed Social Worker
Post Secondary Degree
Certified Therapeutic Recreation
Specialist
Registered Emergency Medical
Technician
Swift Water Rescue
Lifeguard
Wilderness First Responder
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
Special Purpose Educator
Soltreks staff have a deep desire and
commitment to assist teenagers and
young adults on their personal
journey. They all participate in a
bi-annual training that includes
educational sessions in
Safety/Behavior Management, Medical
Issues, Emotional Health, Developing
Relationships, Family Systems, and
Holistic Health.
Soltreks staff are encouraged and
supported in continuing their own
personal growth journey by
participating in supportive
communication, workshops and
retreats. |
